The Hope that I Have

For many years of my life I was actually quite a skeptic. But then through a series of events in my life, I began to seriously consider what life is about, and specifically weigh the claims of Christianity. A dramatic shift occurred in the way that I view the world.

First, I became convinced of the importance of the metaphysical questions such as: What is the purpose of our life? How did we get here? and Where are we going? Second, I came to believe that there are specific and compelling arguments and evidences that support the Christian worldview's answers to these questions.

I don't claim to have all the answers by any means, but we live in a world of uncertainty where complex decisions must often be made without a complete knowledge of all the facts. One day, I plan to provide resources about these reasons and evidences that I have found so compelling in my own journey of seeking truth. My hope is that they will enable you to form a more educated opinion, one way or the other, about some of the biggest issues in life.

In this section, I plan to share the reasons for the hope that I have that there is something beyond this life to look forward to, and that there is something worth living for. I do not believe because I need something to give me hope. Yet because I find compelling arguments and evidence to believe in the claims of Jesus Christ, I do have hope. Here is the story of how my worldview changed.

Until I develop these sections, I would encourage you to explore some of the resources on my links page in the "Apologetics" section on the right.
